Utilizing much of our local gravel rail trail, this one gets to business pretty quickly. Before you know it, you’ll be traversing gravel roads and trails among our beautiful rolling farm fields to the southeast of Port Elgin as you travel toward Paisley. In Paisley, you’ll be welcomed with some awesome views as you pass over the Saugeen River high above on the old rail trestles. Your return from Paisley will have you mostly on gravel rail trail passing among fields and trees with a couple of awesome tree tunnels. Once you get back to Port Elgin, you’ll head straight to the Lake Huron shore and enjoy a spectacular return to Southampton… If you want to make this one extra special, time your return later in the afternoon / early evening for unparalleled sunset views.
